About
I am Barnabas, an austrian-english director, living in Berlin. All you really need to know about me, is that I absolutely love making good films. Films, that are honest and authentic, and that are inspired by people, their stories, a captivating performance and a distinct visual language. In short, I love both, substance and style. I am driven by my curiosity, so don’t try and pigeonhole me, as I will get excited about emotional storytelling, just as much as I do, creating high end visual feasts for fashion brands. The aim always is, to inspire and ignite a spark.
It is this passion that I bring full heartedly when directing global campaigns for brands like HP, C&A, Tchibo, Vorwerk, Alpha Tauri, Bershka and Arm and Hammer, just to mention a few. What else… Oh yes, I creative directed a few of my HP commercials, I can get quite obsessed taking pictures, and I have a slight Austrian accent.
